Senko IR Link and Mini USB Cable

The IR Link is Senko's infrared communication device for its portable gas detectors. It connects the instrument to a computer, so you can change alarm set points and configuration and download the event log. SENKO lists it as an accessory for the SGT, SGT-P, MGT, DUO TRACER, SP-MGTP and V-PRO. The software is a free download from SENKO.

The IR Link is how alarm set points get changed. Instruments do not always arrive configured for the limits that apply where your crew is working, and California sets several of them lower than the federal numbers.

The parts

• IR Link. Infrared communication link, supplied with the mini USB cable.
• Replacement mini USB cable. SENKO's price list shows two part numbers for this cable, one on the SGT and SGT-P pages and one on the MGT, DUO TRACER and SP-MGTP pages. Both are listed here as SENKO prints them.
