Collection: Rental Equipment
Fall protection rental for California contractors
M Squared Safety rents mobile fall protection systems, guardrail and gas detection equipment from San Clemente, California. Daily, weekly and monthly rates. Collect from us or we deliver across Southern California, from Ventura County down to the Mexico border. Call 949-954-6581 to reserve.
The people handing you the equipment are the same people who write fall protection plans and train crews for a living. If you are not sure which system fits your roof, your parapet or your schedule, ask. The advice comes with the rental.
What you can rent
- Tie Down PX3 penetrating mobile fall protection system. Roof cart supporting up to five workers, available with a rescue winch.
- Tie Down Squatch non-penetrating mobile fall protection system. Roof work on concrete, TPO or EPDM without penetrating the deck. Meets OSHA 1926.502 and ANSI/ASSE Z359.6. Takes a 100 ft horizontal lifeline with a second unit.
- Malta Dynamics X1250 Mobile Grabber. Road towable fall protection cart with a 34 ft mast for leading edge work.
- KStrong Megapod. Portable confined space and fall protection anchor tripod.
- Tie Down guardrail. Freestanding non-penetrating perimeter protection, 110 linear feet.
- mPower POLI multi-gas detector. Portable LEL, O2, H2S and CO monitoring.
Current daily, weekly and monthly pricing for every unit is on the rental rate sheet.
How a fall protection rental works
- Call or email for a quote.
- We send the quote with rates and available dates.
- You approve by phone or email.
- We send the rental agreement and the intake checklist.
- You return everything signed and initialled, with your certificate of insurance.
- Collect the equipment in San Clemente, or we deliver.
- Call or email to arrange collection, or if your dates change.
Reservations and paperwork are completed before any equipment leaves, so we cannot release a unit on a walk up. A certificate of insurance is verified by a person before release.
Renting against buying
Renting suits a defined scope: a re-roof, a shutdown, a single leading edge phase, or covering a second crew while your own cart is committed elsewhere. Buying suits continuous use across multiple sites. If you are running the same system more than roughly four months a year, ownership usually costs less. We sell the same equipment, so the answer you get here is not steered by which one pays us more.
Common questions
How much does it cost to rent a fall protection cart?
Current daily, weekly and monthly rates for every unit in the fleet are published on the rental rate sheet. Rates exclude tax and delivery.
Can I rent fall protection equipment for a single day?
Yes, though most roof scopes take the weekly rate because it works out cheaper than four separate days.
Do you deliver fall protection rentals?
Yes, across Southern California from Ventura County to the Mexico border, quoted per leg. You need your own means of unloading at the site.
What is the difference between a penetrating and a non-penetrating mobile fall protection system?
A penetrating system such as the Tie Down PX3 anchors through the roof deck and is patched afterwards. A non-penetrating system such as the Squatch uses ballast and does not breach the membrane, which matters on TPO, EPDM and warranted roofs.
