Construction Safety Consulting for California Contractors
M Squared Safety provides construction safety consulting from San Clemente, California. For more than fifteen years we have worked with concrete, steel, roofing, and general contractors across the state, along with general industry employers who carry real Cal/OSHA exposure.
You can supplement your existing safety program with our team, or turn the whole function over to us. Either way, you get credentialed safety professionals (CHST, CSP, CIH) who know California construction and the code that governs it.
What we handle
- Cal/OSHA compliance and written programs. Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Heat Illness Prevention Plan, Code of Safe Practices, Emergency Action Plan, Hazard Communication, and site-specific safety plans.
- Site safety inspections. A built and deployed inspection program with documented findings, photos, and closure tracking.
- Monthly safety training. Training built for field crews, scheduled around your pours and your deadlines, delivered by people who have worked construction.
- Governance and reporting. Monthly and quarterly reporting that shows leadership where the risk sits and what it costs.
- Unlimited consultation. Phone, email, and Zoom access to our team when a question cannot wait until the next site visit.
Fractional EHS: a safety department without the payroll
Most contractors we serve are too big to ignore safety and too small to justify a full-time safety department. A qualified in-house safety manager costs $85,000 to $400,000 a year once you count salary, burden, and turnover. Our Fractional EHS program gives you the same function, run by a credentialed team, on a monthly retainer.
