Senko SGT-P Single Gas Detector

The SGT-P is the serviceable version of the Senko single gas personal monitor. The sensor and the battery are replaceable, so the instrument outlives its first sensor and the cost of ownership is spread across the life of the body rather than absorbed every two years.

Who this is for

Fleets. If you are buying one or two monitors for a specific job, the sealed SGT is simpler. If you are standardizing a department on a single gas monitor and you expect to keep the instruments, the SGT-P is the version that makes sense, because the recurring cost becomes a sensor rather than an instrument.

A note on gas selection

The part number determines both the gas and the measuring range. A monitor ordered for one gas cannot be converted to another by swapping the sensor alone. If you are not certain which range you need, the range matters most where the exposure limit is low: chlorine dioxide and hydrogen chloride are measured in single digit parts per million, and a wide range instrument will not give you useful resolution near the limit.
