Senko SP-Pump101 Sampling Pump and Extension Probes

The SP-Pump101 is Senko's external sampling pump for its diffusion monitors. SENKO lists it as an accessory for the SGT, SGT-P, MGT and DUO TRACER. The extension probe lengthens the reach of the pump, so a sample can be drawn from a manhole, a tank or a pit before anybody puts their head into it.

Why it matters

A diffusion monitor reports only the air it is sitting in. Under 29 CFR 1910.146(d)(5)(i) a permit space has to be tested before entry is authorized. Testing from outside the space needs a pump and a probe. If you already own diffusion monitors, the pump is how they do that job. If you are buying new, compare against the SP-MGTP, which has the pump built in.
