The FODS Ground Protection Mat (GPM) creates a portable, stable substrate so vehicles, equipment, and foot traffic can cross grass, turf, mud, and other soft or finished surfaces without rutting or damage. A durable, water-resistant alternative to plywood for temporary roads, staging and parking pads, laydown yards, event flooring, and pedestrian walkways.

Ground protection mat or trackout mat?

This is the FODS Ground Protection Mat. It is a temporary road, pad or walkway that keeps vehicles, equipment and people from rutting or damaging the ground. If you need to clean mud off tires at a construction exit for stormwater compliance, you want the FODS Trackout Control Mat (12 ft x 7 ft, 420 lbs, raised pyramids). Compare both FODS mats.
