Your employer's part
This online course does not replace the training your employer must give on your own job: site-specific training, and hands-on practice and evaluation where the rule requires them.
What this course does not do
This is an awareness course. It does not include air testing or monitor calibration, respirator medical evaluation, fit testing or respirator training, or confined space entry and rescue training, and it does not teach the rules for work outside California. Your employer sets the monitors, engine rules and ventilation for each site. This is the Cal/OSHA course, and federal OSHA's rules differ in several places. A federal OSHA version of this course is sold separately. The course is online only.
