How to put on and adjust the harness
Hold the back D-ring, shake the harness to free the straps, and unfasten any buckles.
Slip the straps over your shoulders, keeping the D-ring centered on your back.
Pass each leg through the leg straps and connect them to the buckles.
Fasten the waist belt if your harness has one.
Connect the chest strap, keeping it 6 to 8 inches below your throat.
Inspect the harness before every use and take any harness that has arrested a fall out of service.
