Your employer's part

This online course does not replace the training your employer must give on your own job: site-specific training, and hands-on practice and evaluation where the rule requires them.

What this course does not do

This online course cannot walk your workplace, check your harness or show you your company's equipment. Your employer must still have a qualified person train you on the fall hazards in your work area and give you hands-on practice with the equipment you use (1910.30). This course does not cover construction, scaffolds or aerial lifts.
