Your employer's part
This online course does not replace the training your employer must give on your own job: site-specific training, and hands-on practice and evaluation where the rule requires them.
What this course does not do
This course is for non-entrants only. It does not train or qualify anyone as an authorized entrant, attendant, entry supervisor or rescuer; those roles need the employer's own training that establishes proficiency (Section 5157(g)). The course ends with a company review page of the employer's own permit spaces and emergency plan. It does not cover construction work (Title 8 Sections 1950 to 1962), shipyards, or operations under Section 5158 such as agriculture and grain handling.
